About Us
Prior to forming F&S in January of 2026, Francisco and Sawyer spent much of the last two decades working in the DFW construction industry with almost ten years working together as Superintendent and Project Manager at large turnkey concrete companies. Overall, F&S has accrued a combined experience of thirty years in concrete construction.
Francisco attended Instituto Tecnológico de Villa Montemorelos located in Durango, México (currently named Tecnológico del Valle del Guadiana), graduating in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. After moving to the United States, Francisco started his concrete career in 2013 as an Assistant Superintendent and has worked to become one of the more experienced concrete Superintendents in the area. Francisco’s experience includes flatwork, paving, grade beams and slabs (with and without void spaces), slabs on metal deck, walls, and his favorite, elevated cast-in-place concrete. Francisco’s main responsibility is the operations side of F&S. Along with being fluent in both English and Spanish, Francisco’s analytical aptitude and steady demeanor facilitate clear communication resulting in efficient scope execution.
Sawyer graduated from Texas Tech University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Sawyer's journey started as an Assistant Project Manager for a general contractor. After a couple years, he was offered a Project Manager position at a concrete company. Sawyer has had the privilege to work on multiple new construction and addition/renovation projects including schools, fire stations, warehouses, medical office buildings, parks, roads, courthouses, auditoriums, and other government facilities. Sawyer's main responsibility is the administrative side of F&S where he strives to remove obstacles for F&S's crews and ensure all information (written/spoken/digital/etc.) is delivered in a straightforward, understandable, and timely manner.
